#FilmIsInCo Why shoot in Colorado?

Wow BIG news for Coloradans!

On May 18th at 10:30am, Governor Hickenlooper signed the new Colorado Film Bill and forever left an imprint in Colorodo’s timeline. The new incentive doubles the old incentive offering of 10% to an upgraded 20% along with a gap financing plan. This means Colorado has become a contender in the movie production industry and will be a big possibility for a lot of producers around the globe who are looking for a phenomenal location to shoot their next feature. Tell the world that film is in Colorado.

July 1st, with the support of the Colorado Film and Video Association, we will be launching a new project called #FilmIsInCO. Everything you need to know about the project can be found at FilmIsIn.COm! Our campaign screening will premier to the public on the 1st of July and then will move from the silver screen to the internet for a viral launch. #FilmIsInCO will recap the previous conditions for filmmaking in Colorado, have some words from key players in the state, and answer the question, “Why Shoot in Colorado?”.

Visit FilmIsIn.COm for updates on screenings, events and media.
